Craft instructor Virginia Brasher will be teaching us how to bind our own books and journals!
Get pumped up for the Annual Friends' Book Sale at this Craft-SPLOSION program! Virginia Brasher will be teaching teens how to create their own books and journals with a simple Japanese Stab Binding technique. All materials will be provided, and registration is required.
This event is for teens in grades 7-12 and is located in the Makerspace on the second floor of the library.
YA Craft-SPLOSION is a monthly program series for teens taught by craft instructor Virginia Brasher (Instagram: @peaceful_acres_farm). We create a variety of fun, unique, and trendy crafts (usually) every first Thursday of the month. Some of our most popular crafts have been indigo dyeing, acrylic paint pour, pottery, and silk scarf printing. All crafting materials are provided for these events.
For more information about YA Craft-SPLOSION, contact teen librarians Matt Layne and Michelle Cheng.
Be sure to join us the following week for the Friends' Annual Book Sale!
