Learn to write poetry with Ashley Jones, poet extraordinaire at this virtual writing workshop! Keep a notebook or Word document nearby to take notes or practice writing during the workshop. You will also need to have these poems for the workshop.
Ashley M. Jones is a contemporary poet who has received national recognition for her talent and voice. She received her MFA in Poetry from the Florida International University (FIU), and her poems and essays have been published in numerous anthologies including CNN, the Academy of American Poets, Poets Respond of Race Anthology, and more. Jones currently resides in Birmingham, AL and actively promotes poetry and literature through several literary and writing organizations the Magic City Poetry Festival, Alabama Writers Cooperative, Alabama Writers Forum, and PEN Birmingham.
