Learn to read with kids!
Reading with kids is a skill, and our Children's librarians will teach teens how to be the best reading buddy for their younger siblings, relatives, and babysitting clients in this one-hour training workshop. Meet librarians in the Community Meeting Room near the front of the library to learn. Snacks provided.
Receive practical training and 1 service hour at 3:30-4:30 by volunteer in the Children's department's Reading Buddies program. Read with local kids and reinforce their early literacy skills love of books in the Storytelling Room. Please consider any potential dog allergies before joining us.
This program is for teens rising to grades 7-12. Got questions? Email young adult librarians Michelle Cheng and Gracie Roth at teens@oneallibrary.org.
