Join us for a screening of Colin Eggleston’s psychological thriller of bad romance and atmospheric dread in the Australian outback.

Join us Under the Mountain for a screening of LONG WEEKEND (1978), Colin Eggleston’s psychological thriller of bad romance and atmospheric dread in the Australian outback.

Attempting to resurrect their failing marriage, Peter (John Hargreaves) and Marcia (Briony Behets) set out on a camping trip to a deserted stretch of the Australian coastline, hoping a long weekend in the sunshine will help them patch their differences. But they are a careless couple, and their callous disregard for the environment and its wildlife soon becomes apparent when animals start to seek vengeance.

Their crime was against nature…Nature found them guilty!

We will have music, a free spooky short story featuring illustrations, raffle prizes, candy, snacks, and complimentary adult beverages for those old enough.
