Learn the money management skills you need to succeed!
The O'Neal Library Life Hacks program presents: Neena Speer, financial literacy coach, businesswoman, and lawyer! Students will learn practical saving skills, budgeting basics, and paycheck breakdowns (calculating hourly wage; what is FICA, etc.) and more during this two-hour workshop. During the Q&A, participants may ask about their own financial curiosities, such as credit building, filing taxes, and an explanation of investments.
Registration is APPRECIATED. Got questions? Email young adult librarians Michelle Cheng and Gracie Roth at teens@oneallibrary.org. Life Hacks is a monthly program series we offer for high school students in grades 9-12 to prepare them for college and career life. 7th and 8th graders are welcome to attend and start building college & career skills, but high schoolers will be prioritized.
