Meeting Room Reservations

Meeting room reservations are temporarily suspended.

Community Room (capacity 150)

130 chairs are available, along with 30 two-person tables and 2 large serving tables.
Audio/visual equipment (microphones and projector) available.

Conference Room (capacity 25)

12 rolling leather chairs around a stationary solid wood meeting table are available. 13 meeting room chairs may be requested as well.

All rentals must be made by a Mountain Brook resident over the age of 21 with a library card in good standing.

Meeting rooms may not be used for children's birthday parties.

Groups are subject to all library rules and regulations and must keep noise to a reasonable level in accordance with the city's noise ordinance.

The joint kitchen between the meeting rooms includes a microwave, refrigerator, warming oven, coffeepot, and icemaker. The library does NOT provide coffee, condiments, cups, plates, napkins, etc.

Nothing may be attached to the walls, furnitures, doors, or ceiling tiles.

Fire code prohibits open flames (including candles).

Groups are responsible for audio visual and computer set up (instructions provided). A computer is not supplied by the library for use with the projector.

Rental and Payment

You may rent a room up to 90 days in advance in 4 hour blocks, provided space is available. No more than 6 reservations may be made in a 90-day period.

Pricing depends on organization type, and all rentals are subject to library approval.

When you rent a room through our Website, you agree to our room rental policy.

If you reserve a room outside of regular library operating hours, it is your responsibility to contact the library at least one working day in advance of your reservation to pick up a key for access to the building.
