Learn to Fence for Narnia!

Reepicheep of Narnia salutes your journey into the chivalric art of fencing!

Join us for a FREE demonstration and beginner fencing class from an instructor of Birmingham Fencing Club! Teens will learn footwork, distance control, bladework, and practice bouting at this event. All equipment will be provided. Participants MUST wear close-toed shoes to this program. Clothes that allow flexible movement are recommended.

This program is for teens rising to grades 7-12. The teen and their primary guardian must sign a liability release waiver before participating in the program. Got questions? Email young adult librarians Michelle Cheng and Gracie Roth at teens@oneallibrary.org.

Interested in learning MORE about fencing? Check out Birmingham Fencing Club's website: https://www.fencingclub.org/. They offer free classes on Saturdays at 2-3PM, camps, and intermediate classes for students who have discovered a love for the sport!
