Package food for the local community!

Meet librarians at the Community Foodbank of Central Alabama (107 Walter Davis Dr, Birmingham, AL 35209) and package food to distribute to local communities on July 8 at 1-3PM. Please wear closed-toed shoes to this volunteer opportunity.

The Community Foodbank of Central AL welcomes food donations on site. CLICK HERE to view their food drive toolkit for acceptable shelf-safe donations they will accept. 

This service program is for students rising to grades 7-12. Registration is REQUIRED. Got questions? Email young adult librarians at teens@oneallibrary.org. This event is part of our Summer of Service program series and may earn you a chance to win a Challenge Yourself Challenge prize.
