Join us on a walk to look for our local birds!
Sarah Randolph from Alabama Audubon will lead participants on a roughly 1/2 mile walk around the block looking at local birds and habitats. As they say, the early bird gets the worm, so we'll be starting our walk from the library parking lot at 9am sharp, meander by the golf course, then stroll through the neighborhood before circling by the tot lot and through the alleyway back to the library parking lot. Visit the library afterward and check out a birding book to receive a free DIY bird feeder kit (you'll need peanut butter at home)!
Comfortable shoes are a must and bring your binoculars if you've got them. Keep an eye on the weather!
