Join us as Amanda Lee McCarty, host of Clotheshorse podcast and veteran of the fashion industry, unravels the truth about fast fashion as part of our Sustainable Style series of programming.
Close your eyes and imagine the scene (we've all been there) - You're scrolling at night before bed and see an ad for a top/skirt/shirt/jacket/etc that is cute, on-trend, and would barely make a dent in your bank account. Fast fashion is a term used to describe a business model supporting the rapid production of cheap, trendy clothing that is designed to be worn only a few times before being discarded. Join us as Amanda Lee McCarty, host of the Clotheshorse podcast and veteran of the fashion industry, unravels the truth about fast fashion as part of our Sustainable Style series of programming.
