A new year means new Crossover programs, and we are starting off with a gaming night and a Smash Ultimate Tournament! No gaming experience is needed.
Bring your friends for casual video gaming or test your skills against other young teens in the Smash Ultimate Tournament at this months Crossover program! The library has a plethora of Game Cube controllers, but you may bring your own Switch controls.
Crossover is a program series for younger teens in Grades 5-8. It occurs every 2nd Friday of the month at 6 PM. Some of our most popular Crossover programs have been Escape from Azkaban Breakout, Floats & Strokes, Putt-Putt in the Library, and a Smash Ultimate Tournament. Registration is appreciated for this event.
For more information about Crossover programs, contact Matthew Layne, Tess DeView, or Michelle Cheng.
Did you know that our teen librarians host a monthly gaming program for teens in grades 7-12? Every first Saturday of the month, we reserve the Community Meeting Room for Game On, a program where teens can hang out, eat pizza, and game all afternoon. We also host a Smash Ultimate Tournament within the program. Click Here to view our Game On program dates for Winter/Spring 2020!
